Abstract

The challenge of financial managers in a rapidly changing environment, needs to master adequate financial knowledge in managing the company. Financial literacy is needed by all people and financial managers from various backgrounds, as a guide for carrying out work. The goals to be achieved are realistic, measurable, there are targets at a certain time.

The basic financial knowledge required by UMKM in blind massage parlors includes aspects of cash management, banking access, income, separation of personal money and business money and the role of human resources in managing the business. Cash flow is important information on changes in cash, useful for management and owners of capital / creditors to make operational and investment decisions. Saving is the difference in income that is not consumed, a good method for investing in working capital or fixed capital.

The application of wages needs to be equitable internally and externally. has an important role in developing human resources, increasing competence or working rules needed to carry out work. Internal justice is measured from the work carried out, the responsibilities that must be assumed up to the competencies needed to complete the work. External justice is used to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of a company compared to similar companies.

The population in this study were 16 blind massage workers in Gajah Mungkur District, Semarang. Sampling was carried out by census using the Chi Square analysis tool. Chi Square is a statistical approach to test the comparison of the frequency of observation results with the theoretically expected frequency.

The test results show a positive and significant relationship between the preparation of needs and financial management, the calculated value  the table value  (5.991). There is a positive and significant relationship between expenditure plans and management, the calculated  value  the table value  (5.991). There is a positive and significant relationship between reserve funds and financial management, the calculated value of    the table value  (5.991).

 

There is no significant relationship between account opening and financial management, the calculated value    the table value  (5.991). There is no significant positive relationship between understanding the minimum balance and financial management, the calculated value   the table value    (5.991).

There is no significant relationship between taking credit and financial management, the calculated value    the table value  (5.991). There is no significant relationship between the separation of personal and business money with financial management, the calculated value   the table value  (5.991). There is no significant relationship between understanding cash flows and financial management.
